Deep Chemical Peel in Connecticut

The Rejuvenize Peel is the strongest of the SkinMedica superficial peels.  The formulation targets the deeper layers of the epidermis for enhanced exfoliation.  There is moderate peeling lasting 2-5 days.  It can be repeated every 4-6 weeks.  It works to reduce the appearance of moderate to severe skin imperfections, fine lines and wrinkles, sun damage, acne scarring, hyperpigmentation, and melasma.  A series of 3-6 peels is recommended for compelling results, although results can be seen after just one peel.  Due to its increased strength and depth of action, it is usually only performed after a patient has established tolerability to the Vitalize Peel. 

The active ingredients include: salicylic acid, lactic acid, resorcinol, panthenol, isoceteth-20, and rejuvenize retinol solution (each peeling agent < 15%).
