DIEP Flap Breast Reconstruction: Case 5 This is a 51 year old female who developed right breast cancer. She did not desire implants and had excess fat and skin on her abdomen. She underwent bilateral mastectomies and DIEP flap reconstruction. She had significant abdominal wall laxity and separation of the abdominal muscles, which was fixed and repaired at the time of the DIEP flaps. She had a breast lift performed at a second surgery as a revision.
