Tummy Tuck in Connecticut
This patient is a 37 year old female from Shelton, Connecticut, who had a previous pregnancy. She now had some lower abdominal excess skin and fat which she could not get rid of even with exercise and dieting. She also had some mild laxity of her abdomen, as seen in the before photos from the side view (see below). She saw Dr. Jandali in consultation for improvement of her abdominal contour. Non-invasive non-surgical fat reduction with CoolSculpting was discussed, but this would not fix her abdominal laxity and bulging.
She was a perfect candidate for a full abdominoplasty with liposuction of the abdomen and flanks. She underwent tummy tuck surgery at Bridgeport Hospital in Fairfield County, Connecticut. She also had repair of her separated abdominal muscles (rectus diastasis) and tightening of her fascia.
She had a smooth recovery and was very pleased with her end result. Her abdomen was tight and flat and she now felt comfortable in her clothes again. These before and after photos were taken about 3 months after her surgery.
