Description
This patient had undergone a previous left breast lumpectomy and radiation therapy years ago. She now had a left breast cancer recurrence and chose to undergo bilateral breast reconstruction with DIEP flaps. DIEP flaps have a lower risk of complications compared to implant reconstruction after previous radiation.
