Breast Reduction in Connecticut
This patient is a female in her 30s who had chronic complaints of upper back pain, shoulder pain, and neck pain. These were all exacerbated by her large breasts, which had gotten progressively larger since she was a teenager. She had painful grooves on her shoulders from her bra straps. She had trouble exercising and doing aerobic activities due to the large size of her breasts. She was a good candidate for a breast reduction, which would reduce the size of her breasts as well as lift the breasts at the same time.
Breast Reduction Recovery
The patient did very well after surgery and her symptoms improved dramatically. The scars have faded nicely and are hidden around the areola and in the fold underneath the breast. She was back to work within 1 to 2 weeks after surgery. She is very happy with the result and feels as if her breasts are more proportional to the rest of her body now.
