Jandali Plastic Surgery sells Latisse for patients desiring longer and fuller lashes in Connecticut, Norwalk, Westport, Southport, Fairfield, Bridgeport, Trumbull, Monroe, Shelton, and Milford.
Latisse® (bimatoprost ophthalmic solution 0.03%) is a prescription treatment for hypotrichosis (inadequate or not enough lashes) which stimulates the eyelashes to grow longer, fuller, and darker.
Latisse® works gradually and most patients begin to see an increase in their lash length and fullness within 3-6 weeks. Latisse more than doubles lash fullness by 16 weeks, when the full effect can be seen. Once you begin, you must continue applying the topical solution each night and follow the directions for best results. Latisse comes in a bottle with disposable brushes for daily use. It is best to apply it at night and try to incorporate it into your nightly routine.
If you stop using Latisse®, your eyelashes will return to their previous appearance over several weeks to months.
The eyelash growth effect of Latisse was discovered during clinical trials for a glaucoma eye drop called Lumigan. Researchers noticed that patients were exhibiting longer and fuller lashes. Research was conducted and Allergan brought Latisse to market as an eyelash enhancement product. Latisse is FDA approved for eyelash enhancement.
